PDP DIY Dual Battery Kit | 70 Series Landcruiser (2007–2023 Preface)
A complete, pre-wired dual battery solution designed specifically for the V8 70 Series Landcruiser (76, 78, 79 Series — 2007 to 2023 preface lift models). Everything you need is in the kit — just add a battery.
Built and tested by Perth Diesel Performance in WA, this kit includes a true in-cabin jump start feature, so you can recover your main battery from the aux with the press of a button.

- SBI12 solenoid + 100A solenoid

BCDC Size Guide
- BCDC1225D (25A) — ideal for 100AH batteries (25% charge rate). Best for most setups.
- BCDC1240D (40A) — for aux battery options with high loads or with lithium batteries
Why PDP?
This tray was designed in-house by Perth Diesel Performance to suit the harsh environment. 316 stainless won't rust from heat, battery acid, or chips. Every tray is TIG welded and CNC folded for a precise fit.

The fuse holder that mounts on the top of the battery didn't fit the pre drilled holes. Looks like the fuse holder has been changed from an old one and doesn't fit now. It's not the end of the world, you can drill more holes, besides that it was fine and it looks great.
Instructions and kit were good. Try to move the wiring harnesses out of the way was no way as easy as it sounds in the video.
Only disappointment was clamp to hold down the battery only permitted batteries with flush tops, I couldn’t use a battery that required maintenance. The fill caps got in the way. The bracket could be cut down to allow the use of maintenable batteries.
Very neat but a very tight fit. Especially with the wiring loom. A few more pics of the dual battery wiring would be nice too. Red arc website says to fit fuses, but nothing mentioned on PDP instructions or website.
Aux Battery setup is of good quality. Would even be better if a basic wiring diagram was supplied. Instructions are a little confusing.

This was a great purchase, nice quick delivery and easy instructions included to fit yourself, no modifications needed A1.
Fit in the dual battery system and I’m really, it was a big job as the winch brain box was there, took that off, start from scratch clear everything, set the battery tray in, do all the wiring, put the winch brain box on the crash bar mount it in do all the wiring, and yeh happy with the results, thanks team PDP I’ll be doing more future orders with PDP

Instructions made things easy enough my wiring took a bit a to jiggle around to make fit but was ok
Very professional kit with all wires cut & crimped to length and Stainless Steel brackets fitting perfectly. The Youtube video helped a lot with parts of the installation I wasn’t confident with in & around the dash area shown clearly. The momentary switch looks like it came standard with the LC & works great. I can’t tell you how confidence boosting this is exploring solo.
Having the BCDC constantly charging both batteries frees up the aux to run the compressor, camper trailer power, extra accessories panel I’ve mounted in the toolbox etc.
100% recommend both the kit & backup from PPD
