Want lower EGT's? Suffering from heat soak when cruising on the beach? We have the answer. As you know any compressed air system has a by product of generating heat .Just think about when your pumping your tyres up , that compressor air get rather warm . The use of an intercooler after the turbo to help eliminate this 'compressor' Turbo generated supper heated air.The cooler the intake air temp is the more dense the air is giving a higher combustion ratio = more power & torque curves .When Tuning cars this ratio of heated air is greater due to boost pressure being raised.

NOTE # NOT FOR LATEST 70 SERIES WITH ROUNDED HEADLIGHTS, R&D IN PROCESS . an additional air duct with small modification to factory ducting will be required to give bonnet duct clearance of the fans
Did some research into a few different kits and found this one was the right one to go for given the thermostat control as well as how it seals against the cooler itself. Super easy to wire up and supporting install videos from the PDP team made the install pretty easy.
There are lots of others out there on the market but this is the best one with Spal fans in my opinion. Sure, there is the argument as to not using a fan kit at all but some of the renowned tuners in the country have valid dyno results showing heat-soak de-rating the engine on the 200 series with back to back runs, essentially simulating heat soak in the real world (Towing up steep inclines or beach work)

one fan was wired incorrectly from factory resulting in the fan spinning backwards
had to cut wires and slice and solder back together with shrink tube.
Need to do a quality check before leaving factory. Have sent an email back with no respones.

Very happy with purchase. The fans are super easy to fit. Everything was supplied as expected. Only gave 4 stars because I can’t comment on their effectiveness because I have not towed the caravan yet. That test will be in 2 weeks time.
Very happy with the ease of installing watching your install vid, great product will be good up north next month, and i used the plastic cover in cut down form and think it looks great, PDP are great to deal with and have great products thanks again
