    note most new cars / 4x4 lean heavy on there main start battery due to all the electronics thru out them  , that said every 3 years is a good life span and it is best to replace the main battery in your on planned event/ time frame. Or on that 3 year you can let the car self schedule with a flat battery , generally winter is when a battery occurs, this is due to the head light being used more.
