What are the benefits of adding a Direction-Plus fuel manager to my Landcruiser? 

A fuel manager is very effective at reducing the level of particles, water and other fuel contaminants that pass into the engine. This potentially increases performance, but also (and vitally) prevents deposit buildup over time. The fuel injectors, in particular, are sensitive to this. A fuel manager can play a significant role in preventing contamination damage, increasing their longevity and improving overall engine health.

What is the difference between a pre-filter fuel kit and a post-filter fuel kit?

As the names suggest, the pre-filter is placed in front of the factory fuel filter to remove larger particles and water before they hit the regular filter. The post-filter kit is fitted behind it and is designed to capture any finer debris that might have been too small to be caught by the first filter/s.
